I've just finished reading excerpts of Reconciliation: Islam, Democracy & The West by Benazir Bhutto as in The Sunday Times, Review. Hmmmm... I like her view about what's going on with the world, the East and the West. If she's right, then the war in Iraq and Afghanistan to weed out terrorists and such is clearly, wasting. The West has been battling decoys while the real threats are flourishing right under their noses. And before we knew it, the world will be dominated by extremists using the name of god; who is going to save us then?
Don't get me wrong as I don't hate religions, I believe all religions teaches man kind to do good and be good. Is the intermediate link between religions and followers that is dangerous. They have the power to interpret and many believes their words. That's the danger, they are the captains and they makes the call. To steer forward, to the left or to the right. Those on the ships, will be in those direction too.
Anyway, I think I might buy the book to read and it will be the first bigraphy book that I read in my life. Not really a fan of that genre, don't really care what that famous person did, done think, thought as it has nothing to do with me.
